says:

"We will reject requests where the CA does not provide such information within a reasonable period of time after submitting its request."

I consider this to be true of CACert, and Ian's comment #158 confirms that the information is not likely to be forthcoming shortly. I just hope that this won't result in too many duplicate bug reports from people who don't search carefully enough.

Note to any potential easily-excitable readers from Slashdot: this is not a "No", this is an "both sides agree CACert is not ready to formally apply yet".
