Evolution Crashes on Copy of Calendar Item

I'm submitting this bug report to make sure that this gets addressed (I couldn't find another way to send you an email other than opening a new ticket). You had marked bug #218386 as 'invalid' because there was no crash report submitted by the person who initially reported it. I can confirm that this is a valid bug and that no crash report appears to be generated in /var/crash.

The Bug:
In short, when you copy a calendar item and try to paste into the same calendar, Evolution crashes. I did not have this issue before upgrading to Hardy recently.

Ubuntu Version: 8.04 (upgraded from 7.10)
Evolution Version: 2.22.1

did you enable apport in /etc/defaults/apport? it's not running on stable to not get in the users way

I can confirm that apport appears to be enabled and working....
Evolution just crashed for an unrelated issue and a bug report was
generated / submitted. I believe I have the command to start apport, but
I don't know the process name. If you give me the process name to look
for I'll validate with ps that it is running.

That said, I made Evolution crash again (after apport worked
successfully on the other bug) and can confirm that no report was
available in /var/crash.

Let me know what to do...

I am also experiencing this problem. It's very easy to reproduce and crashes each and every time. Just try to copy a calendar item somewhere else in the calendar and watch it crash.
