Unfortunately, the necessary stack trace is not there...

If you can repeat at will -- which seems the case -- please follow the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash, steps (1) and (2); then

sudo apt-get install evolution-dbgsym evolution-data-server-dbgsym

Then start Evolution, and trigger the failure. This should generate a crash file. From this crash file, right now, we are interested in the stacktrace. Please *attach* it here, and we will go from there.

As a general rule, it is better to attach large output.
