Thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. I looked up evo-rss, and the currently available binary package is version 0.0.8, as reported by apt-cache policy:
Looking at the installed files, I noticed it is installing the plugin under /usr/lib/evolution/2.22 -- *very* wrong for Intrepid since Evolution on Intrepid is 2.24.
I then downloaded the source, and -- to my surprise -- the source is V0.1.0, newer than the available package. Nevertheless, building from the source package fails.
Searching LP I found bug 263834 about the FTBFS on 0.1.0.
I am not sure -- I did not yet get the source for 0.0.8 -- but I am betting it would not work on Intrepid's Alpha6 anyways.
So I am confirming this bug, and changing the description to reflect the real issue (current 0.0.8 is incompatible with Evolution > 2.22).
