I can confirm that this still happens with the breezy release (apt-get
dist-upgraded box from hoary).

I think the priority should be set to major, as this *is* a major loss of
functionality for many in a corporate environment (where were stuck with
exchange servers).

I am willing to debug this in whichever way I can, right down to
modifying/patching source, but am not sure where to start. If you like, please
