I can also confirm this behaviour in 64bit Jaunty, I have turned off the loading of images and the Exchange connector.

I'll try a few combinations and see what (if anything) causes a repeat of the problem)

Not sure if its related - but when I have a message open and select "Load Images" - the display window does not visibly render anything - although the mouse-over events fire as the status line changes as the mouse is moved around the window.
