I did an strace on evince while trying to print.

The error "** (evince:24793): WARNING **: Error result: HTTP Error in GET Success" is obtained when trying to open:
http://localhost:631/printers/Queue.ppd
which gives a 404 Not Found error

http://localhost:631/printers/Queue exists: it shows my printer in cups web interface
