3) What I expected to happen is when I create a .odt file in openoffice writer (please see attached example.odt file) and input white dot symbols, and export the file to PDF, when I open it in either Evince or Adobe Reader for Linux, it shows the same thing.
4) What happened instead is that in Evince, each white dot instead is an infinity symbol, while Adobe Acrobat for Linux accurately reproduces the white dot.
