Bug Description
Binary package hint: evince
After installation from ubuntu 9.10, evince prints lot's of rubbish:
* often incorrect orientation (landscape format squeezed into portrai format)
* the printed file is scaled wrong (big borders about the page => smaller font size)
incorrect orientation is reported:
https:/
IMPORTANT: the bug is fixed in uubntu 10.04, but the big-borders-BUG isn't fixed
(NOTE: I use the lucid evince in karmic)
In 9.04 and 8.10 both bugs doesn't appear...
I was surprised after printing a script for university, the letters were smaller as in the printed script with ubuntu 9.04.
see into the right file: dok1_ORIGINAL.pdf
and the printed file (cups-pdf): dok1_BUG.pdf
The bug happens with an printer from HP, too (NOT only with cups-pdf).
Best regards
Stefan Koch
