However, this does not fix the underlying inefficient rendering done by poppler but it does allow users to zoom in much more than before, be it at the price of high CPU load. But I'm fine with that for now. A patch for now on the Ubuntu package would enable zooming up to 1600% (scaling of 8) would limit the amount of extra CPU power.
