Comment 2 for bug 97258

Please mark this as confirmed as soon as possible, so that a solution can be sought.

The bug should be very straightforward to reproduce: I have it on a freshly updated (edgy to feisty) kubuntu.
Every time emacs-snapshot-gtk is started it crashes with a segfault.

..and it obviously makes the application completely unusable, so I would mark it as important.
