(I have an ACER aspire 4810TG laptop with Matshita CD/DVD player)
The solution "in the BIOS switch SATA to IDE mode rather than AHCI" partially worked though.
But it is very unstable (after some time, CD player won't work and I need to reboot).
I consider the issue not solved. I don't really really know what to do... :-(
