Comment 4 for bug 1035615

40 to 50 new packages each week for updating, I am not a package expert, webcast does nt work, downloadhelper does nt work, VLC cannot show newly downloaded videos, enough MB on harddisc. CPN fromm daami cannot be installed.
One update session has been stopped. Tried synaptic to fix this, no synaptic expert around here.
This is not expired, it is just 1% of the problem .
There is no seagate drive. Today is Aug 5 2013 .
How can resolve this without de-installing everything ?
