I have now got MBR 1TB ubuntu installation.
Is it worth to file that "ubuntu-bug linux" ?

Since only the Bios need to be flashed.
And the report would not show the Bios problems, would it shows?
And the F12 Boot Menu is working perfectly now.

My concern for the reporting are,

1. david6's work around is not working for me and I spent 4 hours upgrading that 14.10, so I hope he response with more details.
    So others will not spend their times on the wrong path.

2. My fix and workaround aren't mention anywhere so I hope this will hellp others to at least stop further repeated problems.
Though they may not be able to flash Bios, like me.

3. Make proposal to "ubuntu installation programing team" to imporove user's warning and alternative workaround options.
Please suggest is this the place to voice opinion on this matter.
