Steve, given that the original reporter here confirmed that the fix works, I'm marking this back as v-done. Bug 1449555 has a description which is exactly the same as here: "where the user selects to encrypt their home directory, they will get a password prompt during boot and at other times on the command-line requesting a password for cryptswap1.". This is due to the insufficient ecryptfs-setup-swap script, which is the bug here.
Can you please file a new bug about your specific setup? Thanks!
