Hi
It appears you have installed both your JVM and eclipse outside
Ubuntu[1], unfortunately we cannot help with this setup. Particularly we
have patched eclipse to various degrees to fix crashes.
The best I can offer for you is for you to try to set the following
variable before starting eclipse (if you have not already done so).
export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=true
That or install your eclipse and your JVM via Ubuntu's repositories. Be
advised however that Ubuntu ships with eclipse Galileo, so you may want
to keep a backup of your current eclipse install (and your ~/.eclipse +
workspace) if you experience any problems.
