see upgraded package as 1.3-45758-0ubuntu1 at https://launchpad.net/~smoser/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=lucid .
simple upgrade, only other change is :
-Architecture: amd64 i386
+Architecture: all

The code is ruby, not at all platform dependent.
