I confirm: with id3V2.4 the mp3 checker "mp3diags" complains, and my Nokia N81 and a Samsung Y2-P2 player do not show the album art.

@matus: thanks! Installing easytag (and not easytag-aac) and switching to id3v2.3 solves the problem in Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty).
