After I had replied before, I had thought about that and tried. Here is
the result....
jim@jim-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get remove --purge magicolor2430dl*
Password:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: The package magicolor2430dl needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find
an archive for it.
That doesn't seem to do it either.
