sudo apt-get --assume-yes dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get --assume-yes install ia32-libs
sudo sed -i.dist 's,precise,quantal,' /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-get --assume-yes update
sudo apt-get --assume-yes dist-upgrade
So it would seem that there are other factors in play.
