This may be caused by the 64-bit patch for promise RAID.

Could you run the following commands:
sudo dmraid -D -r /dev/sda
sudo dmraid -D -r /dev/sdb

This will create a directory called dmraid.pdc, tar that directory and attach to this bug report.
