Hi Phillip,

Attached is a patch that should fix the issue based on the ubuntu 12.10 version of dmraid.
It compiles but is untested, are you able to test this for me?

Do you need me to create a debdiff or is it easy for you to do?
I haven't had my build environment set up at home since I first attempted to fix this bug (~2 years ago?).
