Bug Description

Binary package hint: djbdns

With DNSSEC just around the corner its possible that we will start to see more dns requests starting to be larger than the 512bytes supported by dnscache. The problem can be described here

http://labs.ripe.net/content/preparing-k-root-signed-root-zone

We have several customers which are already requesting large dns entries and in each case djb fails to provide the right results often truncating the end result.

There is also a new version of the IPv6 patch at https://www.fefe.de/dns/ (current the release is https://www.fefe.de/dns/djbdns-1.05-test28.diff.xz from January 2017).

Please update to this version of the IPv6 patch when releasing a new version of the dbndns package.

It fixes some other issues as well, see https://serverfault.com/questions/627912/djbdns-dbndns-dnscache-query-ipv6-only-nameservers
