No PNG Export Options exporting via Cairo PNG

3) What is expected to happen via a terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dia/+bug/503296/+attachment/4188055/+files/Gamma_ELBARA2_block_090830.dia && dia --nosplash Gamma_ELBARA2_block_090830.dia

File > Export > Determine File Type: Cairo PNG (*.png) > Save

and a Dia PNG Export Options window should pop open > choose the image width and height > Export > open the exported file via Dia and it should look exactly the same.

4) WHat happens instead is that the the PNG Export Options window doesn't pop up. As well, much of the detail of the exported file is lost.

WORKAROUND: File > Export > Determine File Type: PNG (anti-aliased) (*.png) >
multiply the default Image height and Image Width by ~4 to 1600 and 1200 or the image will be missing a lot of the detail > Save

First reported in Ubuntu 9.10 with dia 0.97-2.

The error occurs when exporting to a Cairo PNG image. There is no query for the size of the output image. It does not have sufficient pixels to resolve the diagram details. Using the PNG(anti-aliased) gives a decent result because you can specify the the dimensions of the output image. Attached is an example showing the output result, original diagram in dia, the popup window for specifying the output filename and format.

Charles Werner, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. It would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/ .
