By the way, I've realized that my /etc/localtime IS a regular file, not a symlink:

ricardo@yuggoth:~ $ ls -l /etc/localtime
4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 946 2006-04-14 13:20 /etc/localtime
ricardo@yuggoth:~ $ file /etc/localtime
/etc/localtime: timezone data

It's Dapper system, upgraded from Breezy, upgraded from Hoary. Is anything wrong in my system?
