My hunch was correct. The network is failing again. First I tried reinstalling
dhcp3-{client,common} and it worked on the next boot, but did not on the following.

When I try to change anything through network-admin, na just stalls with a busy
cursor. This be trying to deactivate eth0 or disable it.

The general rule is something like this: Network comes up following upgrades of
core system packages (kernel, dhcp3, bootscripts), but only for the first boot
after the upgrade...

If I should just forget about it and reinstall Colony 3 (or wait for C4
depending), or I/we should sort things out in a "proper" way, just say so.

That would be yes :-)
