Comment 21 for bug 358654

I was most displeased to experience the exact same problem as described by Jimmy above. May be worth mentioning I also tried to update my video drivers while the update process was ongoing and had to cancel it due to an error (I figured it was because I was already running an upgrade window)

I tried the solution described in the bug description but to no avail (errors all over trying to update) so I reinstalled my Ubuntu, the problem didn't reoccur.
