It is *not* possible anymore to use a local ubuntu-server-12.04.iso file for off-line installation of VM on XCP 1.5 (xen-server 6).
The created VM boots first correctly from the iso file and allows keyboard settings etc *but* somewhere later it breakes with the following error message:

Your installation CD-ROM couldn't be mounted. This probably means that the CD-ROM was not in the drive. If so you can instert it and try again.

Retry mounting the CD-ROM?

This ubuntu-server 12.04 image on bare metal (HP DL385g7) without any troubles.
Also ubuntu sever 11.10 iso image can be successfully install as VM from a local iso file on XCP 1.5.
I have repeated the test few times and on two different (fresh insalled) XCP hosts.

Both iso images are saved localy on the XCP host in the following directories:
/var/opt/xen/iso_import/ubuntu11.10/
/var/opt/xen/iso_import/ubuntu12.04/

What has changed in 12.04 compare to 11.10 due the the mounting of CD-ROM during the installation? (the CD-ROM label has additional "LTS" text for 12.04). It is curious as the image boots in firts phase and is "injected" into the virtual CD drive of XCP 1.5.
