Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

You can not install (K)Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) Beta 1 with Alternate CD (http://releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/10.04/kubuntu-10.04-beta1-alternate-i386.iso) or with Mini CD (http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/mini.iso) using a WPA- or WPA2-WLAN.

The Alternate CD doesn't give a opportunity to activate your WLAN, so you have to install obsolete packages before you can start to your just installed system, set up your WPA-WLAN and update these packages.

The Mini-CD gives the opportunity to install via WLAN only when WLAN is completely unsecure (no encryption) or when WLAN is rather unsecure (WEP).

WLAN with suitable encryption (WPA, WPA2) should be fully supported in all network supporting installation methods.
