You broke your system somehow, starting with:

This should not happen unless you have accidentally deleted couple of directories...
debconf: DbDriver "config": mkdir :No such file or directory dpkg: error processing man-db (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
I am reassigning this bug to debconf, that's as closest you can get to the error message in the logs.
