That isn't a solution. I realize that we are not paying for support, but this sort of statement doesn't encourage me to suggest that route to anyone. If the fix truly is to update to the newer version why can this not be done in Onieric?

To anyone that this bug is affecting, make sure to click "This affects me" at the top to up the bug heat, that seems to be the only way to get Canonical to fix something they broke.
