Lexmark z600 series still not in printer database

The only tutorial found on adding support for the Lexmark z600 series can be found at: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=49714

Can we get Ubuntu/Debian support for this printer as the method posted is cryptic and hard to run for new users. Personally, I can't even hack it to run a Lexmark z605. The tutorial was written for Breezer Badger... time for an upgrade?

There are instructions at http://finebushpeople.net/LexmarkZ600 . It would be nice to get this driver in UBuntu, since many lexmark and dell pritners require it.

This may be considered a duplicate of bug #29620 or vice versa.

I confimed this, because the driver is now available for a very long time and I think every owner of a z600 series printer has already found and installed it manually.. I am an owner of the z615 printer and for me the driver does well, so why not include this out of the box?

I am closing this bug, because it is not possible to include the lexmark driver. The point is that the license does not allow the driver "to be copied in any public network" (See http://paste.pocoo.org/show/96290/ for full copying information). That means we can not even get this on einto multiverse.
