No drivers for Lexmark X1150

Can't print or scan without the drivers. Checked Lexmark site... only offers Windows and Mac Drivers. Maybe the Mac ones could be ported somehow?

apparently a z600 driver does (somewhat work) for X1150. I found this information here: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=49714

sane-backends-1.0.19 Lexmark-1.0 backend claims to be supporting scanning with X1150. Z600 is still the only working driver for printing.

I've checked it, and the scanner works with the new drivers.

Ubuntu cannot support this printer because the printer manufacturer does not provide a Linux driver for your specific printer model, therefore we are closing this bug as won't fix while actually it is something Ubuntu can't fix. Please ask your printer manufacturer for a Linux driver!
Furthermore if you want your printer driver to be installed automatically in future versions of Ubuntu you should also ask the manufacturer to provide a distribution independent driver package as described here: http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/WritingAndPackagingPrinterDrivers, so automatic download of the printer driver becomes possible as already implemented by this specification: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/printerdriverautodownload since Ubuntu Intrepid.
