Comment 1 for bug 1157758

As far as I can see the code, this is handled since cups 1.6.1-1, unless you have modified /etc/logrotate/cups before the upgrade.

That said, I suspect Ubuntu might have gotten intermediate versions without 666367fc1d9fcdf18b71abf2254f8c12edc67f6b and there might be a need to handle that case specifically.
