Launch firefox
go to http://www.ubuntu-fr.org/ubuntu/philosophie
print a pdf
go to ~/PDF/
you can find job_13-Philosophie_-_Ubuntu-fr.pdf (13 for me)

open a picture : ubuntu-lion_2.jpg with eye of gnome (default action for double clik on jpg file)
print to pdf
go to ~/PDF/
you can find job_14-ubuntu-lion_2.pdf

cups-pdf do not replace. It add job number.
