One thing that may be relevant: I recently (2-3 days ago) updated my router's configuration to assign the printer a new DNS name. It's possible something got confused when the same MAC (or persistent IDs are visible via mDNS etc.) appeared under multiple DNS names.

Also note when I had this problem yesterday, I was on 23.10 with all updates applied, including cups-browsed 2.0.0-0ubuntu2
