I may be wrong, but the new kernel (2.6.20) or 2.6.19 introduced a new harddisk management which now uses /dev/sdXY syntax for all harddisk/partition.
So your /dev/hda5 should now be /dev/sda5.

Apparently the update didn't change some files.
