I get this error now also. Using "Linux netbook 2.6.38-10-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 28 15:07:17 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
semid 688129: semop failed for cookie 0xd4d6c1f: incorrect semaphore state
Failed to set a proper state for notification semaphore identified by cookie value 223177759 (0xd4d6c1f) to initialize waiting for incoming notifications.
It all seems to work fine, except for that error message.
