Ok
I upgraded my system to ubuntu 6.10 then cryptodisk wasn't working anymore - I found the edgy patch and patched my system.
(sudo patch -p0 <cryptdisks.functions.edgy.patch)
but after that i can't start cryptodisk anymore. not even manually.

every time I trie to it says "starting cryptodisk"... but it doesn't ask for any passphrase consequently it doesn't mount anything.

what was wrong or how can I undo the patch?
