Thanks, that works for me just fine in console mode (I reinstalled cryptsetup
and then applied the patch).

With splash I get asked for the password but X doesnt properly come up anymore
after that (blackscreen). That is using a Nvidia GeForce Go5200 with Nvidia
Binary driver rel. 9629.
