Askpass is faulty. It changes the "kernel.printk" parameter, but it does not revert to the previous value.

user@jaunty$ cat /proc/sys/kernel/printk
4 4 1 7
user@jaunty$ sudo /lib/cryptsetup/askpass "Test "
Test password
user@jaunty$ cat /proc/sys/kernel/printk
7 4 1 7
