I noticed that the issue isn't resolved if I only install the linux-image package, it is only when I also install linux-image-extra-3.19.0-31-generic_3.19.0-31.36~RevertsV2 the issue is resolved. I wasn't aware that installing the extra package was a requirement.
The previous version, 3.19.0-31.36~lp1500751Reverts, still exhibit the bug, regardless if I have linux-image-extra for that kernel installed or not.
