Workaround #16 only worked the first reboot. Afterwards not any more. Since then I just do the following steps everytime I reboot (I know this can probably be automated, but I am really hoping this bug gets fixed soon).

  gparted -> reformat linux-swap

  sudo mkswap /dev/sdaX

  sudo swapon /dev/sdaX

  sudo ecryptfs-setup-swap

  test -> swapon -s
