That was never the reason this bug was filed against coreutils; it was because the symptom (invalid forward pointer in the manual page) was manifest in coreutils. But I believe that part has been fixed now, based on comments above; although on my Jaunty box, e.g. the chmod manual page still says "info chmod" rather than "info coreutils 'chmod invocation'". Micah, do you have any indication in which version of the coreutils package this is supposed to have been fixed? (It does appear to be fixed in 7.4-2 which is the latest build for Karmic.)
