"default" and not the name of the computer.
Can you try to run "gconftool-2 -t int -s /desktop/gnome/screen/default/0/rate
100; gconftool-2 -t string -s /desktop/gnome/screen/default/0/resolution
"1024x768""? Does it fix the issue?
