On my system, console-kit-daemon with all its threads takes about 2MB of RAM (RSS in ps aux).
This has near *zero* impact on *any* modern (>64MB RAM) PC.
Do not uninstall it - this will break a lot of things and will gain you *nothing*.
The bug should still be fixed, though, as these thread are unneccessary (but harmless).
