numlock/capslock/scrolllock lights not working

The numlock/capslock/scrolllock lights on my Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard has stopped working since the installation of 2.6.20-6; the buttons work, but the lights don't turn on.

Same thing here, with a natural ergonomic keyboard 4000 from M$.

On kubuntu herd 4, it happen that the keyboard stop completly responding too.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Do you notice the same behavior in one of the text virtual consoles? (i.e. vt[1-4]) Thanks in advance.

By "virtual consoles" I'm assuming you mean the command prompt when I press CTRL+ALT+F1? If so, then no: pressing capslock doesn't allow me to type in uppercase, and the light(s) do not turn on.

Could you please also add your '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' and '/etc/default/console-setup' files as attachments to your bug report? Thanks in advance.
