Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-desktop-environment

Asus P4P800-SE, Intel P4, Feisty Herd 4, Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000, v2.0

When Numlock and/or Capslock keys are pressed the corresponding LEDs on my keyboard do not work. Under Edgy they did work properly.

I have the same problem with Kubuntu Feisty Herd 4 and Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000 (USB connector). In Edgy (and previous versions) the leds where working without a problem. I think this problem is related to the new version of the kernel.

I installed kernel version 2.6.20-12-lowlatency and the bug is still alive. I have to wait the next version or the patch doesn't apply to low latency?

It's the same to me.
Yesterday I did a clean install with the new feisty-beta (2.6.20-12-generic). When the kernel is being loaded the numlock and capslock leds do not work anymore when numlock or capslock are pressed.

I do confirm that with 2.6.20-13-generic, at last NumLock and CapsLock are working; ScrLk isn't.
