Confirmed. Workarounds don't work. I would love to supply the stack info as requested in posts #4 and #5. But when I enter the command I get the following error message:

~$ sudo sh ./dstack compiz >> compizstack.txt
sh: 0: Can't open ./dstack

Also, how can I enter the command when the problem disappears as soon as I unlock my machine?
