Compiz Scale plugin freeze when "Key Bindings Toggle Scale Mode" is unchecked

Steps to reproduce:
1) Uncheck the option "Key Bindings Toggle Scale Mode"
2) Initiate the window picker and press successively the arrows (up right down and left) in any sequence.

More information:

1) It also affects "Application Switcher",

2) It does NOT affect: "Ring Switcher" neither "Static Application Switcher".

3) It doens't seem related to Nvidia since even with Noveau driver the freeze occur.

The check "Key Bindings Toggle Scale Mode" makes no difference to me, neither I need to press arrows. I have only bound the initiate on top left/right corner and this is enough to trigger the bug. It starts the animation, freezes for some seconds in the middle, and then completes. Gets worse over time.

Maybe my machine (quantal) is too fast but I can't reproduce it here. So incomplete for Compiz but confirmed by you guys in Compiz Core (precise).
